Insightstream offers to the market more than 90 years’ combined experience from veterans of the data-driven marketing industry. The company was formed in 2013 by Gary Selby, a joint founder of Information Arts, and the merger of Robert Clark’s EMEA Data Group and Geoff Downer Associates.
Gary Selby, CEO
A B2B global data marketing specialist, Gary has been working with data for over 25 years. He passionately believes that getting data ‘right’ is a step forward for a business, because it allows the insight from data to drive many key areas, including customer acquisition and retention, channel management, product development and logistics planning. In 2000, Gary co-founded Information Arts, which was purchased by Harte Hanks in 2010.
Robert Clark, Sales Director
Robert leads Insightstream’s global sales group and is responsible for strengthening and cultivating the company’s relationships and business with customers, channel partners and enterprise end-users.
Robert was previously the founder and Managing Director of the EMEA Data Group. This full-service company provided both tactical and strategic marketable data that covered all aspects of demand creation and creative data solutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Before running the EMEA Data Group, Robert spent 12 years with US marketing giant Harte Hanks Inc.
Geoff Downer, Solutions Director
Geoff is a highly experienced relationship marketer and marketing solutions specialist. He has more than 30 years’ experience in all aspects of data-driven marketing and the application of marketing automation, bridging marketing and IT.
A recognised figure in the UK’s data-driven marketing industry for many years, Geoff is a founding Fellow of the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM), has written and lectured on IDM training courses, and has served on the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Data Council.
Geoff has an extremely valuable blend of technical and business knowledge that uniquely qualifies him to lead client engagements, build complex information requirements and identify and deliver appropriate solutions that integrate all media – from direct mail to social CRM.
